These are just the chords i didn't want to take an hour to put in the rythem. If you can't figure it out kill yourself. I did put the rythem for the solo in. Please put some new songs in here. I don't want to see any more. TAB: Solo Enter Sandman Please give me your comments on this masterpiece. Ha ha. Love, Tub Ring 2 From: Christopher Mosher Subject: TAB: GREEN DAY--Welcome to Paradise (the whole song) Here is my tablature and lyrics for Green Day's "Welcome to Paradise" as it's played on their Dookie album. I like to give the complete tab, rather than just list the chords (e.g., some have said that "it's just E D A G B"), in order to show the actual strings to play for the "E" chords and to show the entire rhythm, etc. Yes, I know it is a "simple" song; but I like it and I wanted to figure it out exactly (or as close as possible) and tab it, even if only to help others learn how to play it correctly if they so desire. I have tried to indicate as closely as possible the way it is played by Billie. I've taken clues as to how he plays it from a tape of GD playing at Woodstock '94, but this tab tries to reflect how it's played on the album, not live. (The live version does have some differences.) I'm sure of all the positions of the chords; they showed it pretty well on the Woodstock tape. Note that there are at least two guitar tracks recorded on the CD at various times, usually playing the same thing. But, for example during the bridge, they're playing different things. I've tried to tab the most "interesting" or "prominent" one. I know there are some harmonics played during the bridge; I haven't tabbed them, just the main riff. Any comments, corrections, chatter, etc. welcome. Enjoy! Chris Mosher
